Temple as a social charity centre - In modern day world temple acts as the focal point in providing social charity activities by devotees. Sanadana Dharma Sanghom Trust intends to promote the Vishnupuram Mahavishnu Temple as a centre of social charity. The following social charity projects have been streamlined for the kind consideration of devotees of Lord Mahavishnu world over.

Swayam Varam - Programme to promote mass marriage of youth belonging to the economically weaker section of the society. Interested persons could sponsor the marriage of a poor girl by donating Rs 20,000. The trust would arrange the expenses for the feast, ornaments, wedding dress and basic household utensils. This year 100 marriages are planned.

Asraya Mandiram - an orphanage to bring up 100 orphaned male children. The building could be sponsored by an interested person at an expected construction cost of Rs 15 lakhs. Maintanance is to be done by the trust. Interested persons could sponsor a child at an estimated amount of Rs. 12,000 per year. The project is to be inaugurated along side the consecration of the temple.

Free School - A school to provide free education to the orphans and the economically weaker students of the locality, under C.B.S.E scheme. An expected expenditure of Rs 10 lakhs is to be incurred for the construction. Interested persons might take up sponsorship.

Free ambulance facility - The trust has already started free ambulace service for the poor people. The ambulance is being operated from the Taluk Hospital Neyyattinkara. Patients who are in need of immediate special medical care at the Medical College Hospital and also in the Super Speciality Hospitals are transported from the Taluk hospital free of cost. Interested persons could donate for the proper maintanace of the ambulance.
