Temple Reconstruction Considering the historical, traditional, cultural, artistic and heritage value of the ancient temple, the villagers of Perumpazhuthoor decided to reconstruct the temple by forming a trust - Sanadana Dharma Sanghom Trust. Now the temple is under reconstruction. The Consecration of the temple is scheduled to be held on Wednesday May 11, 2005.


On this occasion the trust has planned to conduct various cultural programms and charity activities. 7 days saptaha yajnam, special pooja and religious functions will be held during these 21 days. Gajamela of 51 tuskers will be the major attraction of the cultural program.
